Maren Lindqvist trained in architecture and spent ten years designing kitchens. Theo Brandt has spent twenty years as a finish carpenter in Seattle's Craftsman and Tudor houses. They started Lindqvist & Brandt in 2011 so the person who draws your room and the person who builds it would never have to guess what the other meant.

What does a kitchen remodel cost in Seattle?
Our kitchens start at $45,000, and most land between $65,000 and $140,000, depending on the layout, the cabinets and the counters. You'll hear an honest range at the consult and get a fixed, line-item price before demo.
What if you find something behind the wall?
The fixed price covers everything we can see and reasonably expect. If we open a wall and find rot, old wiring or a cracked pipe, we stop, show you, and price the fix in writing before we touch it.
How long will we be without a kitchen?
Most kitchens take 8 to 10 weeks of construction. Because everything is ordered before demo, nothing sits half-finished waiting for parts, and we'll help you set up a temporary kitchen.
Can we live at home during the remodel?
Almost always. We put up dust walls with zip doors, protect the floors from the front door in, run an air scrubber, and clean up at the end of every day.
Who handles the permits?
We do: the drawings, the applications, the inspections and the final sign-off with the city, all included in your fixed price.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. Financing is available on approved credit through a lending partner, and we can walk through the options at your consult.
